Banff questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Banff?
Banff is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Banff address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Banff?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Banff is usually two working days after dispatch.
Who checks supplement labels in Aberdeenshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Aberdeenshire, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Banff brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
