Common questions in Mid Yell
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Mid Yell address, showing our materials and finishes.
Do I need to be based in Mid Yell to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Mid Yell deliveries go by tracked courier to ZE2.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Mid Yell?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Mid Yell is usually two working days after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Mid Yell brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Mid Yell
Products you sell from Mid Yell must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
