Middleton questions
Who checks supplement labels in Rochdale?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Rochdale, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Middleton address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Middleton?
Middleton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I need to be based in Middleton to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Middleton deliveries go by tracked delivery to M24.
