Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Minety
Supplements sold from Minety must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Wiltshire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Minety brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Questions from Minety brands
How long do printed pouches take to reach Minety?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Minety is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you only work with Minety businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Minety orders go out by tracked courier to SN16.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Minety, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Minety?
Minety is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
