Printed pouches for Newborough brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Common questions in Newborough
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Newborough, showing our materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Newborough?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Newborough is usually the next working day after dispatch.

Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Newborough
Any food supplement sold from Newborough must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
