Questions from Newtown brands
Do you only work with Newtown businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Newtown deliveries go by tracked delivery to HR6.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Newtown address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Newtown?
Newtown is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Newtown?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Newtown is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Newtown brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Newtown
Products you sell from Newtown must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
