Common questions in Over
Who enforces food labelling in South Gloucestershire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for South Gloucestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Over?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Over is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Over address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for Over brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
