Questions from Parkgate brands
How long do printed pouches take to reach Parkgate?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Parkgate is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who enforces food labelling in Surrey?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Surrey, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you only work with Parkgate businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Parkgate orders go out by tracked delivery to RH5.
Printed pouches for Parkgate brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
