Questions from Pontrilas brands
How long do printed pouches take to reach Pontrilas?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Pontrilas is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Pontrilas businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Pontrilas deliveries go out by tracked delivery to HR2.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Pontrilas?
Pontrilas is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Pontrilas brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
