Common questions in Poulton
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Who enforces food labelling in Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Gloucestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Poulton?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Poulton is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Poulton, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for Poulton brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
