Supplement labelling rules for Prestwood
Any food supplement sold from Prestwood must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Buckinghamshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Buckinghamshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.

Questions from Prestwood brands
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Prestwood?
Prestwood is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Prestwood?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Prestwood is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do I need to be based in Prestwood to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Prestwood deliveries go out by tracked delivery to HP16.
