Purn questions
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who checks supplement labels in North Somerset?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for North Somerset, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Purn?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Purn is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
