Common questions in Rhyd-y-foel
Who checks supplement labels in Conwy?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Conwy, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency in Wales. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do you only work with Rhyd-y-foel businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Rhyd-y-foel orders go by tracked delivery to LL22.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Rhyd-y-foel?
Rhyd-y-foel is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
