Saltby questions
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you only work with Saltby businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Saltby orders go by tracked courier to LE14.
Who enforces food labelling in Leicestershire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leicestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Saltby?
Saltby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Printed pouches for Saltby brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
