Common questions in Scorriton
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Scorriton?
Scorriton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in Devon?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Devon, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Do you only work with Scorriton businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Scorriton deliveries go out by tracked delivery to TQ11.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.

When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
