When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Questions from Searby brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Searby?
Searby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Searby businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Searby deliveries go out by tracked courier to DN38.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Searby, so you can feel the materials and finishes.

Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Searby
Products you sell from Searby must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Lincolnshire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
