Common questions in Sloothby
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Sloothby?
Sloothby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you only work with Sloothby businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Sloothby orders go by tracked delivery to LN13.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Sloothby?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Sloothby is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Sloothby brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
