Questions from Smithy Green brands
Who checks supplement labels in Cheshire East?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cheshire East, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Smithy Green?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Smithy Green is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you only work with Smithy Green businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Smithy Green deliveries go out by tracked delivery to WA16.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
