South Bank questions
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with South Bank businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. South Bank deliveries go out by tracked courier to TS6.
Who checks supplement labels in Redcar and Cleveland?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Redcar and Cleveland, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for South Bank brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
