Sowood questions
What’s the lead time for pouches to Sowood?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Sowood is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Sowood address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Sowood businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Sowood deliveries go by tracked courier to HX4.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Sowood?
Sowood is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Sowood brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
