Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Spott
Any food supplement sold from Spott must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for East Lothian.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.

Printed pouches for Spott brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
