Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from St Tudy
Any food supplement sold from St Tudy must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Cornwall, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for St Tudy brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Questions from St Tudy brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your St Tudy address, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you only work with St Tudy businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. St Tudy orders go by tracked courier to PL30.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from St Tudy?
St Tudy is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
