Common questions in Stratfield Mortimer
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Who checks supplement labels in West Berkshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Berkshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Stratfield Mortimer?
Stratfield Mortimer is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
