Strontian questions
How long do printed pouches take to reach Strontian?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Strontian is usually two working days after dispatch.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Strontian?
Strontian is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Printed pouches for Strontian brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Strontian
Products you sell from Strontian must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. In Highland, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
