Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Tankerness
Supplements sold from Tankerness must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for the Orkney Islands.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
