Custom supplement pouches for Thickwood brands
Custom printed pouches for Thickwood supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Thickwood brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Thickwood
Supplements sold from Thickwood must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Thickwood
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Thickwood address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Thickwood?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Thickwood is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
