Printed pouches for Thorpefield brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Questions from Thorpefield brands
Who checks supplement labels in North Yorkshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for North Yorkshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Do I need to be based in Thorpefield to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Thorpefield orders go out by tracked delivery to YO7.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Thorpefield

One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
