Thurstonfield questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Thurstonfield?
Thurstonfield is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Printed pouches for Thurstonfield brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
