FAQs for Tring
How long do printed pouches take to reach Tring?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Tring is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Tring address, showing our materials and finishes.
Who checks supplement labels in Hertfordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Hertfordshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Tring brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Tring
Any food supplement sold from Tring must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Hertfordshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
