Supplement labelling rules for Tyndyrn
Supplements sold from Tyndyrn must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Tyndyrn brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
