Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Washingborough
Products you sell from Washingborough must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Washingborough
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Washingborough?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Washingborough is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you only work with Washingborough businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Washingborough orders go out by tracked delivery to LN4.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Washingborough, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
