Wing questions
Who enforces food labelling in Central Bedfordshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Central Bedfordshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Wing?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Wing is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do I need to be based in Wing to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Wing deliveries go by tracked delivery to LU7.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for Wing brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
