Printed pouches for Woodlands brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Common questions in Woodlands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Woodlands?
Woodlands is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you only work with Woodlands businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Woodlands deliveries go out by tracked delivery to BH21.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Woodlands address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Woodlands
Supplements sold from Woodlands must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Dorset, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
