Printed pouches for Y Sgwâr brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.

Y Sgwâr questions
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Y Sgwâr?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Y Sgwâr is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Y Sgwâr?
Y Sgwâr is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Y Sgwâr address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
