What the check covers for Kirby Muxloe brands
Send your artwork or draft copy. We review it against the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, the food information rules and the GB nutrition and health claims register, and send back a written report with every point marked as fine, advised or must fix. We check labels designed and printed anywhere, not just our own. It’s a practical review, not legal advice. If you need advice councils must respect, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step.

Questions from Kirby Muxloe brands
Do you only work with Kirby Muxloe businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Kirby Muxloe deliveries go out by tracked delivery to LE9.
How long does a check take?
We confirm the turnaround when you send your label.
Who enforces food labelling in Leicestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leicestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Is this the same as Trading Standards advice?
No. Trading Standards for Leicestershire enforce the law; we give a practical second opinion before you print.
