Common questions in Llanddewi Felffre
What if my labels are already printed?
We can still check them. If we find problems, we’ll tell you which are urgent and which can wait for your next print run.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Pembrokeshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Pembrokeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How quickly do you review a label?
We confirm the turnaround when you send your label.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Llanddewi Felffre address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What the check covers for Llanddewi Felffre brands
Send your artwork or draft copy. We review it against the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, the food information rules and the GB nutrition and health claims register, and send back a written report with every point marked as fine, advised or must fix. The check covers any label, whoever designed or printed it, not just our own. This is a practical check rather than legal advice. If you need advice councils must respect, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step.
