Supplement label checks for Preston, Hertfordshire
A written review of your supplement label against UK labelling rules that apply in England, for companies in Preston and across Hertfordshire.
What the check covers for Preston brands
We read your label line by line: the supplement statements, the nutrient table and %NRV maths, ingredients and allergens, claims, text size and traceability. You get a written report you can act on or pass to your designer. This is a practical check rather than legal advice. For assured advice, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step. The check covers any label, whoever designed or printed it, not just our own.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Preston
Products you sell from Preston must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Hertfordshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Preston questions

What do I get back?
A written report, with each item marked fine, advised or must fix, with suggested wording where needed.
What if my labels are already printed?
We’ll still check them. If we find problems, we’ll tell you what must change now and what can wait for the next run.
