Check your supplement label: Reach brands

Send us your label and we’ll tell you, in writing, what must change before it goes on sale from Reach.

FAQs for Reach

What does the report look like?

A written, point-by-point report, with each item marked fine, advised or must fix, with suggested wording where needed.

Do you only work with Reach businesses?

No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Reach orders go by tracked courier to CB25.

Do you send samples?

Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Reach, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.

How long does a check take?

We’ll tell you the turnaround when you send your artwork, and urgent checks can often be done quickly.

Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?

We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.

What the check covers for Reach brands

We read your label line by line: the supplement statements, the nutrient table and %NRV maths, ingredients and allergens, claims, text size and traceability. You get a written report you can act on or pass to your designer. This is a practical check rather than legal advice. If you need advice councils must respect, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step. We check labels designed and printed anywhere, not just our own.

Rules in England

Label rules that apply in Reach

Any food supplement sold from Reach must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cambridgeshire.

One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.

Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
