Supplement label checks for Rhydowen, Ceredigion
Send us your label and we’ll tell you, in writing, what must change before it goes on sale from Rhydowen.
What the check covers for Rhydowen brands
We read your label line by line: the supplement statements, the nutrient table and %NRV maths, ingredients and allergens, claims, text size and traceability. You get a written report you can act on or pass to your designer. This is a practical check rather than legal advice. For assured advice, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step. The check covers any label, whoever designed or printed it, not just our own.

Supplement labelling rules for Rhydowen
Products you sell from Rhydowen must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. In Ceredigion, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
