Send us your label and we’ll tell you, in writing, what must change before it goes on sale from Tal-y-bont.

Questions from Tal-y-bont brands

What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?

We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.

Do you send samples?

Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Tal-y-bont address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.

What if my labels are already printed?

We’ll still check them. If we find problems, we’ll tell you which are urgent and which can wait for your next print run.

How long does a check take?

We’ll tell you the turnaround when you send your artwork, and urgent checks can often be done quickly.

Do I need to be based in Tal-y-bont to order?

No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Tal-y-bont orders go out by tracked courier to SY24.

What the check covers for Tal-y-bont brands

We read your label line by line: the supplement statements, the nutrient table and %NRV maths, ingredients and allergens, claims, text size and traceability. You get a written report you can act on or pass to your designer. This is a practical check rather than legal advice. For assured advice, a Primary Authority partnership is the next step. The check covers any label, whoever designed or printed it, not just our own.

Supplement labelling rules for Tal-y-bont

Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
