Supplement labelling rules for Bishopbriggs
Products you sell from Bishopbriggs must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Bishopbriggs businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline. Bring your existing logo and colours or start from scratch.
