Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Burray Village
Any food supplement sold from Burray Village must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Burray Village businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch, from a single label to a full range.

Common questions in Burray Village
Can you fix my current label?
Yes. Send your current artwork and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. You get the final files, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do you only work with Burray Village businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Burray Village deliveries go by tracked courier to KW17.
Do I need to meet a designer in Burray Village?
No. We rarely meet clients in person: briefs, concepts and changes are handled by video call and email.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour-coded products, a shared back-panel layout and templates for new SKUs.
