Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Coughton
Any food supplement sold from Coughton must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Herefordshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Herefordshire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Coughton businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline, whether you print with us or elsewhere.

Common questions in Coughton
Do I need to meet a designer in Coughton?
Not at all. We rarely meet clients in person: briefs, concepts and changes are handled by video call and email.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. We build a system: colour coding by benefit, a shared back-panel layout and templates for new SKUs.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Coughton, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. The final files are yours, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do I need to be based in Coughton to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Coughton deliveries go out by tracked courier to HR9.
