Label and brand design for Fernwood supplement businesses
We design supplement labels for Fernwood brands that look good on the shelf and pass a compliance check first time.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Fernwood
Products you sell from Fernwood must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Nottinghamshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Fernwood businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch, from a single label to a full range. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline, ready for any printer.

Common questions in Fernwood
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Fernwood, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. You get the final files, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do you only work with Fernwood businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Fernwood deliveries go out by tracked delivery to NG24.
Can you redesign an existing label?
We can. Send us what you have and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
