Rules in Wales
Label rules that apply in Ludchurch
Any food supplement sold from Ludchurch must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Ludchurch businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, whether you print with us or elsewhere.

Common questions in Ludchurch
Can you fix my current label?
Yes. Send us what you have and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour coding by benefit, a shared back-panel layout and templates for future products.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Ludchurch?
Ludchurch is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I own the design files?
Yes. The final files are yours, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do you only work with Ludchurch businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Ludchurch orders go out by tracked delivery to SA67.
