Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Old Down
Any food supplement sold from Old Down must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for South Gloucestershire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Old Down businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch.
