Rules in Wales
Label rules that apply in Rhydypennau
Any food supplement sold from Rhydypennau must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Ceredigion.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.

How design works for Rhydypennau businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, whether you print with us or elsewhere. Bring your existing logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch, from a single label to a full range.

Rhydypennau questions
Do I need to be based in Rhydypennau to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Rhydypennau orders go by tracked courier to SY24.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Rhydypennau, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. The final files are yours, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can you design a whole range?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour-coded products, a shared back-panel layout and templates for new SKUs.
