Supplement labelling rules for Rufford
Supplements sold from Rufford must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Nottinghamshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Rufford businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch, from a single label to a full range. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline.

Common questions in Rufford
Do I own the design files?
Yes. You get the final files, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
Do you do range designs?
Yes. A range design gives you a system: colour coding by benefit, a shared back-panel layout and templates for future products.
Can you fix my current label?
We can. Send us what you have and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Do I need to visit a designer near Rufford?
Not at all. Most clients never meet us in person: briefs, concepts and changes all happen by video call and email.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Rufford, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
