Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Wain Lee
Any food supplement sold from Wain Lee must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Staffordshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Wain Lee businesses
Send us your formula, pack size and any brand assets. We design the back panel to the rules first, then the front to sell, and send concepts for you to choose from. Every design includes a compliance check and print-ready files set up with bleed and a dieline, ready for any printer. You can bring your own logo and colours, or we can create them from scratch.
