Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Woodhouse
Products you sell from Woodhouse must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leicestershire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

How design works for Woodhouse businesses
We work online, so you don’t need a local agency. We start with a short video call or written brief, then send first concepts. Your label is built around the legal panel, so nothing has to be squeezed in later. You can bring your own logo and colours or start from scratch. Each design comes with a compliance check and print-ready files with the correct dieline.

Woodhouse questions
Do you only work with Woodhouse businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Woodhouse deliveries go out by tracked delivery to LE12.
Do I need to visit a designer near Woodhouse?
No. We rarely meet clients in person: briefs, concepts and changes all happen by video call and email.
Can you fix my current label?
Yes. Send your current artwork and we’ll tidy the back panel, fix the nutrient table and prepare print-ready files.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Woodhouse?
Woodhouse is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can you design labels I’ll print somewhere else?
Yes. You get the final files, set up for print with bleed and a dieline.
